>>dump that LPEX thing, and switch to CODE, it does this correctly. Ah Peter, don't get me started. I've used code for years, but I've just got WDSC 5.1.2 and I'm in my "it's a new release, lets see if I can live with it this time" phase. WDSC and Lpex have been improving in leaps and bounds, and will no doubt replace code in time. I can live with the speed. The thing that drives me back to Code every time is the lack of an easy macro facility in Lpex. I've a bunch of macros for code (including an If/End matching one) that make a huge difference to my productivity. I looked at plug-in development for WDSC but it's non-trivial to say the least. Not many people had the same priorities when the last survey was done, so I guess this is democracy in action. Anyway, Don said he wanted to know any problems, hence the report. Cheers Rob
