This perspective does not add or change any WDSC functionality, it is just a convenient window arrangement. So you should first see if you can do what you want to do in RSE. I have never actually tried to do this, but in general, Eclipse does not allow the same file to be open twice in two editor windows. A limitation they will hopefully fix. So I do not think you can do this in RSE either. It appears to not do anything, because all it would do is shift focus to the existing window. To demonstrate, open files A and B for edit and give the focus to the editor for file B. Now open file A for browse, I suspect it will just show the already open editor window for A. The only way you could work around this is to copy the member you want to browse to a different source file and then browse that one. Or, if you are editing from your development library, perhaps you could open the version in production for browse. Any help is appreciated. > _____________________________________________________________________________ Scanned for SoftLanding Systems, Inc. by IBM Email Security Management Services powered by MessageLabs. _____________________________________________________________________________
