>>" Has anyone experienced a problem with the WDSc 5.1.2 splash/welcome
screen
hiding their iSeries logon dialog? I start WDSc and after a minute of
waiting for the splash screen to disappear, I realize that WDSc is waiting
for me to answer the popup dialog but that it is invisible.
 "
I was able to prevent the log in popup box appearing at start up by adding a
password to Windows -> Preferences -> Remote Systems -> Passwords. Whenever
I start WDSC I can see it log in to the iSeries for me in the status line
messages.

I have not encountered the situation (yet) when my password expires and I
attempt to log in with a password that has expired, but I get a notification
on my green screen sessions days ahead of that event anyway.

Thank you,
Matt Tyler
