Aaron, For Auto-Indent, it is tied to the Enter key, not when the code is typed for the first time (though they are normally done together). So, if you type in code and then use the arrow keys, no auto-indenting is done. We don't have a format option like you describe but it is on our list of requests. Have you tried the Source>Show Indentation action? It now does indentation on free-form statements along with the fixed-form statements. Please respond to Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries Just got 5.1.2 loaded without any problems (pleasantly surprised). I let it do all of the uninstalling and everything! Auto Indent Anyways, I have been snooping around testing out the new features and had a question about the Auto Indent feature added at this release. Does it only auto indent when you type the code for the first time? What I mean by that is if I modify some code it would be great if I could just do a Ctrl + Shift + F and it would auto indent everything in my code. Automatic Closure Of Control Block Also, the automatic closure of control block is another cool feature. It is even cooler that you had the forethought to include different casing options! Good job guys!! This version also seems to be more speedy in many areas. I noticed that my cursor doesn't have a delay after arrowing more than ten spaces (nice to be rid of that). My Outline and code assist also work flawlessly so far (it rarely worked for me in previous versions). Kudos to the WDSc team! Now if we could just get more frequent updates ;-) Aaron Bartell _______________________________________________ This is the Websphere Development Studio Client for iSeries (WDSCI-L) mailing list To post a message email: WDSCI-L@xxxxxxxxxxxx To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/mailman/listinfo/wdsci-l or email: WDSCI-L-request@xxxxxxxxxxxx Before posting, please take a moment to review the archives at http://archive.midrange.com/wdsci-l.
