   I did go and look at the links you provided.  There is an incredible
   mishmash of stuff available and I'd much rather have the update manager
   work.  (I did get it to work at home, eventually, over my 56K modem).

   I'll do it manually at work as a last resort, but it doesn't looks
   straightforward.
