Kelly, the rename dialog, at startup, goes to the server to get the list of existing member names in its file, so we can tell you if there if the new name is in use. It must be taking a while to get that list... is this a large file (eg, a large number of members)? We'll have to look at letting you disable this behaviour. The filter includes three source members: AR100.cbl, AR100_V1.cbl, and AR100_V2.cbl. I want to rename AR100.cbl to AR100_V3.cbl. When I right-click on the AR100.cbl member and choose the Rename option, the dialog box to rename the resource appears, but WDSCi stops responding. This has happened repeatedly. I ended and restarted WDSCi, then tried again. I restarted my PC, then tried again. I ended up making an iSeries command using RNMM to rename my COBOL source members. But it would be nice to be able to use the right-click Rename option. Is the right-click Rename option intended to be used with source members stored on the iSeries? Thanks, Kelly _______________________________________________
