Joe,

The site looks real nice. Are you planning any articles like a "Making of
...." that explain some of the specific tools within WDSC you used? For
example, was this created using the new "Web Site Designer" that is
included in 5.1?

Also, is this the "announcement" you have been talking about, or is
something else still coming? You have us all on the edge of our seats.

Finally, if anyone would like to see another site that was built using the
tools in WDSC, we have a "demo site" of our web-based Helpdesk application
up and running.

http://support.softlanding.com/xdesk/

You have to register to use the app, since it is personalized, but we do
not attempt to validate the information at all. If you actually use the
site, you should give a valid email so that you get the email messages
when your "requests" are answered.

The site also contains a lot of nice FAQ's about WDSC, WebSphere and
Struts so it could be of general interest to anyone.

Great job.

Mark

iSeries

If anybody would like to see what can be done on the iSeries with just
the basic tools they give you, feel free to drop by the new PBD website.
It was totally revamped, written entirely using WDSC5.1, in about 40
hours total.

The site is www.plutabrothers.com.

And while the the site map still needs a little work, the navigation
bars are particularly nice (I think), and are autogenerated whenever I
change the web site layout.

WDSC is one slick package, folks, and everybody ought to learn it. I've
also got my first column coming out Monday on MCPressOnline
(www.mcpressonline.com) covering the new version of the tool.

Joe
