I would suggest entering a specific enhancement request for this feature in
FRED.  IBM's Feature Request Enhancement Database.

After you add it, post messages in the appropriate mailing lists asking
people to vote for it.

I believe that the Toronto developers look at this and try to prioritize
enhancements based on what gets the most votes.  If you could get 20-30
votes for it, it would at least stand out in the database as something
people want.

Thanks Joe, i understand that these lists are at least lurked by quite
some IBMers, so i let this e-mail be my request.

I WANT TO HAVE A SMART SYNTAX CHECKER THAT CAN DO AT LEAST AS MUCH AS
THE FREE FORM SYNTAX CHECKER! THANKS IN ADVANCE!

I have been too frustrated with reporting things to IBM - at least in
Austria - that i will not do it any more. Too much time wasted for
nothing.
