That is what I meant by saying that CODE does not allow a reformat option
to fix indentations.  I agree with you that we should have a function to
clean up the indentations.

I understand now.  I agree that there should be some auto-indent.  I think
that would even be better.

>From what I have seen in requests to IBM, it appears they are enhancing
LPEX and not CODE.  They don't even have the "Convert to C free-form" in
the LPEX.  I have seen some things in LPEX that have been enhanced over
CODE and some thing LPEX is missing that CODE has.  I don't even want to
estimate when these free-form enhancements might go in if accepted.  I
think IBM should focus on getting the core functions of CODE into the LPEX
before trying to put enhancements in that CODE doesn't have (assuming they
would take awhile).  That is just my opinion though.

I don't believe the View, Indent, works in free format, just in fixed
format.  At least it didn't in Code last time I looked.
