Craig,
I don't believe the View, Indent, works in free format, just in fixed
format. At least it didn't in Code last time I looked. For example try
this free format code:
C/FREE
for x = 1 to 3;
y+=x;
EndFor;
/end-free
C for x=1 to 3
C eval y+=x
C EndFor
And then do a View Indent. You'll get:
C/FREE
for x = 1 to 3;
y+=x;
EndFor;
/end-free
C for x=1 to 3
C | eval y+=x
C EndFor
Isn't that just the nuttiest thing you've ever heard of?
Or, for another example:
C/FREE
for x = 1 to 3;
y+=x;
EndFor;
/end-free
C 1 do 3 x
C eval y = x * 27
C EndDo
Becomes:
C/FREE
for x = 1 to 3;
y+=x;
EndFor;
/end-free
C 1 do 3 x
C | eval y = x * 27
C EndDo
But having the automatic indenting would be the bee's knees!
