WDSCi problems

WDSCi 5.0; WinXP, plenty o' disk; 768 MB.

(1)     EVFWLX40.exe crashes every time I try "Program Verify".  I get the
box asking if I want to report the problem to Microsoft's write-only SAN;
either response kills the process and leaves the member locked.

(2)     After I submit a compile from RSE using LPEX, JAVAW.exe loops; the
hourglass jitters on the screen behind the cursor.  I have to kill
JAVAW.exe; that kills WDSCi.


I'd be grateful for directions or a solution...
