Yep, but given the limitations imposed by the size of my screen in order to
view the source in a meaningful way the field table view isn't real wide.  I
have managed to make the format column go away by resizing it so small it
doesn't show up.  I think I'll play with the arrangement some more.  Maybe I
can some up with something.

Rick,

You probably already realize this, but although you can't hide or rearrange
table columns, you can at least resize them and make them as small or wide
as you like.  If you do this once, your widths will be retained as long as
you don't close the view.
