Joe, I believe that PVCS is the most widely used version control tool in the world, perhaps CVS has eclipsed it recently, but it is certainly the most widely used non-free product. And ClearCase is no CloudScape. It is a "Cadillac" type product that would typically cost in the 6-figures for a large development shop. The "LT" version is basically the same product with a few of the high-end features disabled. But as I understand it, it is still a very capable tool. ClearCase, even the LT version, is very heavy on "process", consequently it is not something you are likely to just install and get started with easily as you could with CVS, and especially with PVCS. That is probably the achilles heel of the LT version. They are marketing it to the DIY crowd, but it just isn't a DIY product. Mark
