[WDSCI-L] WDSC 5.01: Error RSEF1002E Opening Member

Trying to open a source member through RSE using the LPEX Editor results in
the following error:

RSEF1002E - Operation failed. File system input or output error.
Message reported from file system: Unable to establish a connection.

However, there is no problem opening the member within Code/400.

I found an old post of Mark Phippard's in which he recalled that they had
the same error message due to inadequate authority on the QPWFSERVER
authorization list, so I checked it and found that QPGMR (of which my
profile is a member) has *CHANGE authority to this list object. Changing the
authority to *ALL did not make any difference.

Does anyone know what other conditions might generate this error?
