What we did is this...

We spent over a year moving from System/21 to SAP. Once you do that it's
easy, click on the System on the drop down on the SAP GUI and choose
List. It will format what is on the screen and export it to Excel for
you.

I guess I should cancel my subscription to this list.

Subject: [SYSTEM21] Re:- Down loading AS/400 file to excel

Dear All

We have a custom made sub file program to show sales history and trying
to have a function key to extract what ever data shown on the as/400
screen to download into excel.

The data is stored in a work file in AS/400 and using client access I
was able to get it from Excel menu. Does anyone know a different method
as we only have one license for CL.

I am looking for a simple method for end users. Tried ODBS without much
success.

Thanks

Suren
