Hi Rick Are you sure about that file? I think INP39 was used for the configurator. One possibility would be to use INP38, the alternative reference file, INP38 field ALTI38. A uniqueness requirement is enforced here so this may be good or bad for your situation. Another thought is to use item text with a specific text type only used for UPC codes.
