Sometimes I don't give JBA/GEAC enough credit.  Sometimes.
The GL161 file does indeed cover this scenario with no user intervention.
At least at V352b SP3.

i.e. it checks if LUNA goes to 0 after it is incremented, and if so sets it
to 1

If this is the case, then I would just let it carry on and not change the
Application Control file manually,
