What file holds this info? Regards Steve Dodkins -----Original Message----- From: Lemon, Mike [mailto:MLemon@xxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 22 September 2004 14:10 To: 'System 21 Users' Subject: RE: [SYSTEM21] Resetting the next GL/UPDNOG List, A very timely email, indeed! I just went into 31/GLU and noticed that ours is near the limit as well. I'm interested in hearing the answer to this question as well. Thanks! -Mike -----Original Message----- From: Ellsworth, Bob [mailto:Bob.Ellsworth@xxxxxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, September 22, 2004 8:56 AM To: System 21 Users Subject: [SYSTEM21] Resetting the next GL/UPDNOG Our GL "last update number used" is approaching its 7-digit max, and my fear is that either (1) it won't quietly roll on its own after 9999999, or (2) it will, and we'll have a zero which would indicate that the transaction remains unprocessed. I can do a Maintain Application Control (31/GLU) to change the number, but the question is - can we just shut down the GL subsystem, set the last update number to 0000001 and restart the subsystem without a hitch? Has anyone else had to do this?
