I read one reply that said a fix is out but I do know without the fix the UPDNOG goes to zero so a transaction gets updated buut looks as if it wasn't. I usually advise that the UPDNOG be reset to 1 anytime after the number reaches 900000. This is easy using the menu option 31/GLU. It would be good practice to shut the G/L subsystem down first as you point out. I can do a Maintain Application Control (31/GLU) to change the number, but the question is - can we just shut down the GL subsystem, set the last update number to 0000001 and restart the subsystem without a hitch? Has anyone else had to do this?
