I haven't personally done this but have been around when others have done
this.  This is usually done by interfacing to the Requisitioning system.
Depending on who you talk to this is a 'great way to control the data
coming into the system' or 'it is an extra step that slows things down'.
In one instance the data was brought in to requisitioning with the flags
set so it was approved such that the P.O was automatically created.

Has anyone done any type of programming to create open Po lines from an
ASN or from an 862 from another application?
If so, would you be willing to share some information?
Also, what files would you use as trigger files for something like this?
Is there a list of trigger files out there, and is there any documentation
on them?
