RE: Planning stops in MRP/MPS


  To all who had suggestions on this, I thank you.

  The problem was caused by a field in 3/MDM called "Cumulative Lead Time".
Someone had gone in and done some maintenance on this part, and as per usual
with S/21 had pressed F8 to update - well, that's what they thought they
did, instead they pressed Shift F8 (F20) which does a "Calc. Cumulative Lead
Time".  This lead time calculated out to be 70 days for this part, and
that's exactly what was showing on our MRP report.  It was a rolling 70
days.  Now that we have returned that value to Zero, the system is once
again projecting this part out into November like all the rest.
