   I work for a JBA (Geac)&n= bsp;agent in Scotland and we do have one
   customer who never shuts down= any of the subsystems and performs a save
   while active. They have carried = out DR testing successfully and are
   happy with the result. I am not convinc= ed though that all the files will
   be in sync as some data may still be held= in memory.

   Best option is to try a test save o= f say OSLD1F3 during the day to see
   if you can get it, then check the integ= rity of some key entries like
   next sales order/invoice number against last = order taken etc.
