On later versions of OS/400, I think you can use an SQL statement like this: SELECT SUBSTR(TABLE_NAME,1,10) FILE,SUBSTR(TABLE_SCHEMA,1,10) LIB FROM qsys2/systables WHERE FILE_TYPE = 'S' Hope this helps!
