Inventory Management : Serial Number




Hello

      We have a user who wants to control part of his stock by item serial
number.
      From what I  have gathered in Infobase, you need to modify the
company
      profile, and at item level use Lot Control type 'S'.  You also need
to input a
      'Serial Number' for each transaction involving a lot controlled item.

      On a more practical aspect, I would like to have any tips from those
who have
      already implemented Serial Numbers. We need to know whether it is
more
      of a burden for users rather than help them.
