What do you use to schedule bringing the subsytems down/up? STRM400 or another product? We take our subsystem down every night when we do the backup and then bring it back up. However, once in a while, we find it completely falls asleep - making no updates to the GL, but producing no error, either. To correct it, we bring the subsystem down and back up, using 32/GLU (Start/end Balances Update). This "wakes it up" so it'll pick up and process any transactions in queue. Has anyone else encountered this? We haven't found a source of the problem, but since the recovery is so quick it hasn't been at the top of the list. Hope this helps, -BobE * bob.ellsworth@xxxxxxxxxx * 781-830-5516 > -----Original Message----- > From: Kincer, Alan [SMTP:akincer@xxxxxxxxx] > Sent: Tuesday, March 25, 2003 3:53 PM > To: JBA listServe (E-mail) > Subject: [SYS21] GLUPDATE running with DLYW status > > > > Hello all, > > My GLUPDATE program appears to be stalled however there is no message to > respond to.
