Another issue we found is that if you Contract Header does not have dates
and you try to put in dates for a line item, the header dates will override
the detail in the header is a earlier date. It is recommended that you put
in at least some ending date in the header even if it is 12/31/2039.

One more is the handling of price changes on the contract flowing through to
purchasing. We have found issues with that too.

Subject: RE: [SYS21] Vendor Scheduling Question...

One of our most frequent issues with VS is that schedule creation
ignores the effectivity dates on the contract lines.

I.e. if you put an ending effectivity on a part on a contract, and later
open a new line
for the part, the schedules will be created against the first line it finds
regardless of effectivity date. This results in new PO lines being
generated
on the wrong/old PO number.

This was supposed to be fixed in v3.5.2b SP3 under PTF P#VSV30028
