I was afraid of that .. (I figured you guys had that flag set to not allow
negs.)
You are right, the manufacturing movement side does override (long story).
Do you remember the really, really low level transaction profile set ups
(?) you should check those out - movement types and all that - I think
you can set the "production" movement types behavior there.

Ray Hearl - are you out there?
You were the one who told me to stay out of those places so now I forgot
how to do it - care to give some free advice and tell me if I'm off track?

Sorry, it's Friday, I'm burnt and rambling again - Good luck.

Yes the inventory side of System 21 is working fine all of our issues and
adjustments warn that the inventory will go negative and do not allow the
user to continue with the transaction. So it is like the manufacturing
transactions do not recognize the flag on the inventory company profile.

Subject: [SYS21] Negative Inventories in Manufacturing

We are working on setting up manufacturing bookings in a non lot
controlled
environment. System 21 allows the inventory to go negative when there is
not enough inventory on the component to cover the need. In our lot
controlled environments this is not the case. Anyone have a suggestion on
how to not allow negatives in this type of environment?

Item booking and operator booking
Flow routes
Booking activity code - PRODRP
Backflush material
Schedule controlled environment
Non lot controlled items

Thanks,

Keith
