Cost set names are not referenced in any other files than MSP05/06. They are used as selection criteria in various functions. Only the Blank cost set has specific function and is referenced whenever Std Costs are retrieved within the Mfg Cost module. So, if you current use of the 'old' cost set can directly reference the 'new' cost set, I'd say you could just start using the 'new' one. Not sure I answered the right question but be assured that non-blank name cost sets are only referenced in programs that have cost set name as a selection criteria.
