A specific example in our case would during a receipt of goods by our shipping and receiving department (43/PMP). Our users at times will experience multi - minute response times during these transactions. We've reviewed hardware, scheduled other CPU intensive jobs outside of normal business hours and monitored user jobs. We will see the background job (MJ_CTL1DX)in subsystem OSLMJ slow to a crawl. The problem is sporadic. The thought here is leaning toward record locking issues but we haven't been able prove the theory as yet. Any input would be appreciated. We're running JBA system 21, version 3.5.0. Thanks in advance, Michael Godson Business Systems Analyst Hach Company Loveland, CO (970)663-1377 x2505 mgodson@hach.com --
