When creating and processing the AP Cheque Run (yes I spell it correctly), you can specify the period on the APY menu. When processing in Cash Manager you can also specify the Period (F8 etc). I think you can also specify the period in 15/CSP too. The main thing is to have constant procedures. It is usually the exceptions that cause problems. Confused by all the different periods? No wonder your spell cheque incorrectly. However there is a flag that states 'post to current period'. If you change this you can select the period you want. Richard Caldicott Hi All Its some time since I've done this, but am I right in assuming if I date a check run to the next period (i.e. checks dated 1st October ) the cheques will post correctly into that general ledger and creditors for the next period?
