That about sums it up!  We created a mod to disallow entry based upon the
header date.  We needed an effective date validation due to multiple
revision levels in the Automotive Industry.

If you have an effectivity date that has expired in the header it will not
post the booking.  It will however backflush any component that is not
effectivityed out.  Isn't that nice.  No notice ...just out of luck.
Remove the effectivity date of the header or change to a later date, and it
will work.

Is anyone using the Effectivity Begin and End Dates on the route header
records?  If so, are you having any problems with transactions not posting
in inventory but posting in production.
