This is the same problem we are having in Service PAC 3. We have not put
Service PAC 4 in the production environment yet. We have tested and it
does the same thing is Service PAC 4 Solutions PAC 2.3. Thanks, Margaret

Subject: RE: SYS21 - Routes & structures Header Effectivity
Dates

Just went thru that issue with geac last month. We were using that field
for basically
reference purposes. The effectivity dates on the header were not supposed
to actually
be active. Upon our uplift to SP4, however, our schedule control items
stopped booking the top level item. The component items were posting,
however. This issue
went to the UK, where they confirmed that the header effectivity dates
were
not
supposed to do anything. The reference dates that we had entered were
causing the
booking problem, tho. The solution was not to use the header fields. The
UK
said they would look at those fields in the next service pack. There
should
be an issue registered with geac on this. Answerlink seems to be down,
now,
so I cant check. Hope this helps.

Is anyone using the Effectivity Begin and End Dates on the route header
records? If so, are you having any problems with transactions not posting
in inventory but posting in production.
