I haven't done that upgrade yet, but this might be relevant . . . I keep trying to upgrade from V4R3 to V4R5 using a pc connected as the Operations Console. After IPLing from the Licensed Internal Code CD, the system simply refuses to bring up the ops console screen, with an SRC which says there is a workstation controller failure (which there isn't). When I go back and do a manual IPL type B, it works ok, but obviously, I've had to go back to V4R3. Anyone had anything similar? Does anyone use a pc ops console instead of dumb workstation?
