I have heard the same thing. I'm not happy with the communications between
GEAC and it's S/21 customer base. They should at least let us know what is
going on.

Subject: SYS21 - 'Tis the season ...

I'm curious about the lack of discussion in this forum about the recent
layoffs of System/21 staff from Geac. Some of the rumors I've heard include
closing most of the offices, other than Mt. Laurel, and moving support
overseas to the UK, with the exception of a handful of people who will
remain stateside. I guess some staffers in the rest of the country will be
working from home, but some rumors say that only a few dozen people will be
left nationwide.

What's everybody else heard? How do you feel about that, especially since
Geac's been pushing so very hard not to allow any outside resources to work
on their clients' installations?

Pulling pin, walking away quickly,

Stefan Jansson
