Yes, I have heard that the Active Reporter / TM1 cube system is difficult to
get working..

An alternative is to use Crystal Reports / Crystal Enterprise (CE) server to
automatically run / distribute your financial / GL reports overnight. The
reports can be emailed, faxed, printed, or just saved to a server for later
access. The beauty of Crystal Enterprise is that NO client software is
required and folks can access reports via a browser VIA any internet or
intranet connection. Setup is minimal once you have financial / GL reports
written...

Please contact me offline for further information.

Subject: RE: SYS21 - Sys21 - General Ledger Reporting system

Michael,
What do you mean by "if you can get it working" when referring to Active
Reporter?

Why isnt FM working for you? Training Understanding etc?
GEAC have Active Reporter which isnt too bad if you can get it
working. There is also Crystal and the like.
I have even used excel... download the balances and have EXCEL do the
work.
This has also been successful.
Perhaps your IT depertment want to write their own reports.
Regards
Michael
