Not to go against what Suzi says, but Fossil are a very special case. Their requirements for a financial reporting solution are very different from most organizations. Also, because of the way that their accounting processes work, they have very unique issues with the software. Fossil are also on a very very old version of it. For most companies, TM1 is an excellent solution. Training Understanding etc? GEAC have Active Reporter which isnt too bad if you can get it working. There is also Crystal and the like. I have even used excel... download the balances and have EXCEL do the work. This has also been successful. Perhaps your IT depertment want to write their own reports.
