Dear Angus When testing new modules, PTF and other change testing always use a test environment - it is much easier to clean up afterwards Best option is use OS/400 to create a virtual AS/400 (if your version of OS/400 supports), this takes more space but has the advantage that you can also test IBM PTF's, etc. Otherwise if you set up a test environment using copies of your live libraries you can always junk the lot and start again easily There is some information on the Infobase CD on set-up and use of test (TST) environments. If you have the space then I advise this as the best course of action. To reclaim space use archiving routines to splat old information - this is definitely the place to start when beginning archiving. Kind regards Andrew Tribe Systems Accountant Pimpernel International Ltd _______________________________________________________ Angus wrote We have just loaded the JBA manufacturing modules which we want to test for a trial period. After adding new packs with the temporary codes supplied in Administration, I can't seem to get the applications/menus/tasks to appear. Does anyone know a step by step method for adding new modules to the Application Manager?
