Caveat Emptor on SQL...

Test Output...
        SELECT * FROM OSLD1F3/OEP20E, OSLSLF3/SLP05
        WHERE CONO20=CONO05 AND CUSN20=CUSN05 AND DSEQ20=DSEQ05

Update records (yes there different)
        UPDATE OSLD1F3/OEP20E
        SET OORD20=100, BORD20=0
        WHERE EXISTS (SELECT * FROM OSLSLF3/SLP05
        WHERE CONO20=CONO05 AND CUSN20=CUSN05 AND DSEQ20=DSEQ05)

Fields "OORD20 & BORD20" do not exist in OSLD1F3/OEP20E. Are you moded?

ALLWAYS TEST FIRST and MAKE A BACKUP.

Good Luck and your welcome.

We have 2 files, a customer details file (fields ending in 05) and a
customer attributes files (fields ending in 20). (To readers using JBA,
I'm using SLP05 and OEP20E.)
The join between the customers will be fields called CONO05/20, CUSN05/20
and DSEQ05/20
I would like an SQL statement to the effect of
UPDATE OEP20E SET OORD20=100 BORD20=0
WHERE CGP105 =008
CONO05=CONO20
CUSN05=CUSN20
DSEQ05=DSEQ20

OK, what I REALLY need is an SQL course, but can someone help me?
