Hi Bruce, thanks for your input. But the problem is not that simple. We have many jobq's (single threaded) for use by about 135 users, who constitute 12 groups. The usual way of directing a user batch job to the appropriate Q is through the 'Default job Q' parameter of the JBA user profile maintenance screen ( in some cases we specify 'user overrides' ). Such an approach was required in view of probable concurrent requests from many users for same JBA functions which are response-time critical. . So, for a given task, we cannot 'hardwire' the jobq at task level. regards +--- | This is the JBA Software Users Mailing List! | To submit a new message send your mail to JBAUSERS-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to JBAUSERS-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to JBAUSERS-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner: doug333@aol.com. +---
