The problem you describe can only be resolved by using a Cost Set with Route 2... I can only assume that you still want to book production at the frozen standard and the problem you mentioned below relates to the actual cost rollup... If that's the case then you will need to employ the Cost Set concept to acheive your desired result... By default you are using the blank cost set. Good luck... We are trying to keep route1 frozen and route2 current. Problem arises when changing a component item - (manufactured item being consumed in Bill of Material) in route2 - i.e. change in labor rate, material quantity etc. After updating JBA, for both component and parent (in that order) in route 2 - the parent part in route2 will reflect component costing from route1 rather than the changes made to route2 component. - Basically on the parent route2, component items are costing out @ route1 component cost rather than route2 component cost. Was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem and if so what was the fix?
