This is a standard S/21 feature however it's never been that well
documented.  In this case the session in error occurred as previously noted
during Log Entry option, therefore use the Log Entry posting option, execute
the   F12 at the 1st screen Panel as you have also said, you will then be
prompted to enter a Session number, enter that of the Incomplete Session and
you will then be taken into the session!  Isuggest you Review the session
via the command key and make sure you're happy with it, then either Update
or cancel the session.  There maybe a problem if posting a session that is
old with regard to posting period and balnaces, sorry but I can't recall!
What I do suggest you do though is run daily query reports over PLSESERR and
SLSESERR to catch incomplete / sessions in error as soon as possible, this
raises the alarm prior to Period End too!
