Rebuild balances

The net profit accounts for our individual companies do not add up to our
net profit account for our total company(company 00).  Has anyone else
experienced this?  Do we have to run 22/GLU rebuild balances each month? We
rebuild hierarchies when we add a new account, should we rebuild hierarchies
every month (32/GLM)?
