User count



I am wanting to monitor our user count, we a constantly hitting the user limit.

I plan on writting a routine to record our user numbers each half hour so that
at the end of the day we can get a picture of our peak periods.

Question: What file is the user count in/how do I tell (programattically) what
the current user count is.
