Attached is a direct link to the site Steve Haessler mentioned. Very
interesting. I can now see why Geac doesn't want us to have source.

Subject: Introduction

Good Morning everyone. My name is Steve Haessler and I am a Sr. Systems
Analyst at STRATTEC Security Corporation in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We are a
leading manufacturer of automotive ignitions, locks and keys. We have been
on JBA since January, 1997.
We have been told that we will receive our source with service pack
3, but would not receive it for any new products or modules we would
purchase.
By the way, there is an interesting article in the June 5th issue of
Computerworld regarding a 6 year old lawsuit that has entered the verdict
stage involving third party modification of legacy software. The suit was
originated by Dun and Bradstreet Software, according to the article acquired
in 1997 by Geac.
You can find the news brief by searching the Computerworld site for "Geac".
