Update from financial user committee
The Geac/JBA Financial User committee has lost its second JBA coordinator in the last 3 months.
Since no meeting location has been booked for the August conference in Orlando, the committee will need review postponement until either September or October. We have already postponed the conference from June based on losing the first coordinator.
Based on normal financial user commitments, it was determined that the third week in each period would allow the most users to attend.
The committee had determined that 12 weeks lead time were necessary from Invitation to conference to allow users to properly plan for attendance.
Your committee has created great agenda. The agenda takes into consideration all the responses from last years conference in Las Vegas. Mainly networking with peers in financial applications regardless of JBA vertical.
We will continue our efforts on your behalf.
