Thank you. I will be contacting Premenos today and find out why they are not managing these user spaces. In the past I have been re-assigning ownership to another active user and it has not seemed to have an impact. At this point, there are tons of these *USRSPC that are very old. Maybe there is a way to purge this data when it is no longer needed. I see I have homework to do. Thanks to all for your help. OS400 does not allow you to delete if the user owns objects. Why > should I garbage up the system with terminated users? You can do a WRKUSRPRF command on the user in question, and then select option 12 to display all owned objects, and then select option 9 to re-assign those objects to another (active) user profile. EDIxxxxxxxx might be a good candidate, but if Premenos is not managing ownership of these user spaces, then it may not matter who you assign them to. jte -- John Earl - VP & CTO The Powertech Group 253-872-7788 johnearl@powertechgroup.com www.powertechgroup.com _______________________________________________ This is the Security Administration on the AS400 / iSeries (Security400) mailing list To post a message email: Security400@midrange.com To subscribe, unsubscribe, or change list options, visit: http://lists.midrange.com/cgi-bin/listinfo/security400 or email: Security400-request@midrange.com
