The person is no longer employed by this company, so we remove them from the
system. OS400 does not allow you to delete if the user owns objects. Why
should I garbage up the system with terminated users?

OS/400 does not allow you to delete a user who owns any object
regardless of the type. You may wish to do a DSPUSRPRF user-id
TYPE(*OBJOWN). This will show you all objects owned, but becareful.

If you are still using your EDI package why do you wish to delete
the user-id? If you are worried about someone logging onto this userid
change the password. You might have issues with ownership and authority
if you transfer that to another user-id. I know Premenos was quite
quirky about their EDIOWNER user profile.
