Agreed.

If I'm not mistaken, you can't even set a machine lower than 30 anymore, and new
boxes default to 40.  Both of these are good things.

Of course, jyou can run at 30 or 40 with *PUBLIC access to just about everything
and effectively not be more secure than 20...
