Re: FTP manual and Regarding stream file on IFS

Hi,

I just referred this document for FTP :-

but from my local desktop to pub400.com when trying to ftp a text file then
getting this error when i do cd command :-
"
550-Specified directory does not exist or cannot be accessed.
550 Working directory not changed. "


Also with respect to IFS path's query , i want to know if there is a file
with .txt type in a particular path then how can we copy it in to a source
member (blank source member whose type is RPGLE) I was able to transfer
that .txt file using filezilla on IFS path but from there unable to copy it
in to a source member of a particular source physical file and library, so
how to do so?

That's how many of us find much of what we say in these emails. SFTP is
probably in separate documentation and might be the general docs for it on
any platform

Hate to say it, but I think you've thrown together a mess of topics here -
FTP vs SFTP vs CPYFRMSTMF vs source members - oy! I'm not good enough to
address all of that, man!


But look up SFTP in Google and you'll find it is different from FTP, as I
recall.
