That's true for the default LF size, but you can specify the PAGESIZE parameter on the CRTLF command to specify the same values that you can using the same parameter on the CREATE INDEX statement:  8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512.

All else being equal, database engineers should be creating indexes rather than LFs.
